EVANSTON, IL May 22- PreScouter is proud to announce its partnership with NF Midwest in search of a cure for neurofibromatosis. By donating the services of its Global Scholar Network, PreScouter will help facilitate academic collaborations with the goal of advancing neurofibromatosis research. Through these collaborations of expert scientists, medical experts, and scholars, PreScouter hopes to spur innovation that will result in better technologies reaching NF patients faster.

Neurofibromatosis(NF) is a grouping of genetic disorders affecting approximately 1 in 2,500 people that can cause tumors to grow on nerves in or on the body. They can cause a variety of other complications depending on the type of NF. NF affects all races and genders equally. Connecting entrepreneurs, investors, students, developers and designers, the event brings together those in support of local innovative startups. The event is open to the public and sponsored by Technology Innovation Center, a not-for-profit incubator dedicated to supporting the growth of early stage technology-based businesses. 27 Live is the newest live entertainment space in Evanston combining a restaurant and whiskey lounge.

Evanston, IL February 18, 2014 PreScouter will be hosting an exhibit at the Association of University Technology Managers’(AUTM) annual meeting this week in San Francisco. The annual conference is meant to bring together leaders in technology innovation to share ideas and advance academic technology transfer globally.
