Dinesh Ganesarajah has overall responsibility for managing PreScouter. Dinesh previously managed the new media project portfolio at the BBC, assessing business opportunities and managing a process that shaped the BBC’s multi-million dollar budget for new media projects. For Openbet Technologies, he established an offshore office in India and managed delivery of some of the most highly trafficked gambling websites in the world. Dinesh holds an MEng in Computing from Imperial College London and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, where he was a McCormick Scholar.
Chief Financial Officer
Doug Pollina manages PreScouter’s financial, accounting and legal concerns. Doug previously spent 11 years working in Information Technology consulting and as an IT Project Manager at Midway Games, Inc. a Chicago-based home entertainment company. Doug holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Management Information Systems from the University of Notre Dame and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
Ashish Basuray has overall responsibility for the service delivery component of PreScouter’s business. Ashish previously worked as a management consultant at BearingPoint Inc., as well as having served in the US Peace Corps. Ashish earned his Bachelor’s of Science in Chemistry from Carnegie Mellon University. Ashish completed his PhD in Chemistry at the Weinberg College of Arts and Sciences at Northwestern University, focusing his research on designing nanoscale architectures, molecular electronics, molecular memory and organic solar materials.
Alok develops and executes strategic initiatives that create medium- and long-term improvement to PreScouter’s business. He is currently a Postdoctoral Fellow at Harvard University George Whitesides’ Lab. Additionally, he is a Visiting Scholar at the University of Tokyo hosted by Professor Takuzo Aida. His research interests exist at the intersection of supramolecular chemistry, energy, and health. Alok completed his PhD at Northwestern University in Materials Science under the advisement of Professor Samuel I. Stupp. There, he was a NERC Energy Fellow and an Energy Cluster Fellow. Alok received his BS in Materials Science, Cum Laude with Honors from Cornell University in 2006. Between Cornell and Northwestern, he worked on long-term research projects at Hewlett Packard Corporation and Xerox Corporation.

Senior Project Manager
Kristin Duke manages PreScouter’s relationships with its corporate clients, ensuring the successful completion of each project. She is responsible for staffing each project, utilizing PreScouter’s network of academic scholars, and managing expectations of both clients and scholars. Kristin previously worked in the health and fitness industry, spending six years as a manager and trainer at a chain of fitness centers. She also spent 3 years as an administrator at University of North Carolina at Greensboro, where she is currently completing her B.S. in Business Administration
Justin Duke is primarily focused on outreach activities to grow PreScouter’s network of academic scholars at universities across the world. He also manages client projects, as necessary. Justin comes to PreScouter with over a decade of experience managing customer service operations, ranging from UPS postal services to retail stores. He completed his B.S. in Business Administration at University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
Dominic Poggi is responsible for building PreScouter’s client base, working directly with PreScouter’s Managing Director. Dominic is also charged with growing PreScouter’s corporate sales operation. Dominic has over a decade of sales experience, with an emphasis on professional sales to corporations, selling services ranging from language translation to online software. Dominic graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from Northern Illinois University.
Marketing Data Manager
Amal Dutta manages PreScouter’s databases, as well a team that finds and vets prospective clients that may value PreScouter’s services. Amal comes to PreScouter having previosuly worked in a number of database administration and analytics roles. Amal has a keen interest in business process improvement, CRM implementations and marketing campaign data management. Amal graduated from Gauhati University with a Bachelor of Science in Physics.
George Akroush is responsible for building PreScouter’s client base. George has over four years of sales experience ranging from retail, B2B and direct to consumer sales. George graduated from the Eli Broad College of Business at Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing.
Joe Czerkies manages the prospecting team – a group of callers. Joe has six years of experience in call center and customer service environments. Joe attends Northwestern University, working on a B.S. in Organizational Behavior. Joe served in the U.S. Army from 1999 to 2005 and is a veteran of both the Iraq and Afghanistan wars. During his free time, Joe is Vice President of Transitional Services for the Northwestern University Veterans Association, helping veterans transition back into civilian life.
Adrian Mehmedi is responsible for building PreScouter’s client base. Adrian has over six years of sales experience with a diverse background ranging from telemarketing, selling direct to consumers as well as professional sales to corporations. Adrian graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance with a minor in Sales Leadership from DePaul University.
Greg van Lunteren
Greg van Lunteren is responsible for supporting PreScouter’s business operations, providing day-to-day tactial support. In addition, he works in tandem with CFO Doug Pollina to manage accounting and financial services for the company. Greg has previously served as a Lab Technician and Data Analyst at Case Western Reserve University’s School of Medicine, as well as a News Intern for the Daily Star of Lebanon. He graduated from Northwestern University with a Bachelors of Arts in International Studies and Political Science.

Benjamin manages the PreScouter Journal, an online magazine exposed to over 30,000 innovation and technology leaders. From recruiting thought leaders across industry and academia to editing and developing content for PreScouter’s site, Benjamin helps emerging writers develop a brand while also helping readers discover the latest news in innovation. He is presently completing his Bachelors in Computer Science at Austin Peay State University.
