About Us

Our Story

PreScouter was born out of one of the biggest food scandals in the world – the 2008 Chinese milk scandal, where milk tainted with melamine affected nearly 300,000 infants. While the world was struggling to find a way to quickly identify tainted milk samples, the technology that could do so was tucked away in a university lab.

The world was one technology away from a breakthrough that could have saved lives and spared the suffering of thousands of babies. This missed opportunity inspired the birth of PreScouter.

Our Mission
