PreScouter is a small but successful business (annual revenue of $3M) which helps bridge the gap between academic research and corporate R&D. We work with over 130 clients, ranging from Coca-Cola and Clorox to others in the pharmaceutical, aerospace, manufacturing, and other industries. We use a network of over 500 PhD scholars at universities around the globe, who comb through existing research and compile reports which help these companies identify innovation taking place outside their walls, allowing them to utilize new technologies and discoveries in order to further product development and save countless dollars and hours.

This position is for an Office Administrator in our casual, open-plan office in Evanston, supporting our CFO, CEO and Operations team. This role requires someone who can handle multiple projects across a wide range of areas, from accounts payable and receivable, contract review, office supply management, company hardware and software inventory, and miscellaneous office management tasks like filing, scanning, etc.

We’re looking for someone who is a self-starter who can prioritize and organize with little supervision; an enthusiastic team member who takes pride in getting the job done right the first time; someone who thinks proactively and independently; someone with excellent communication skills who can work with people of varying personalities, including high-level corporate clients; someone who can balance a high-pressure workload within a casual, laid-back environment; and someone who’s willing to jump in and assist colleagues when called upon.
